I loved that scene between Archer and Pam when he tells her he shouldn't jeopardize her health to change how she looks. He became surprisingly deep and introspective this past season, I hope it continues!

Me too! His douchebag humor is funny, but moments like the one he had with Pam are so endearing and why I like his character.

Do you think Pam's weight loss through season five has been due to her cocaine use and addiction, or does Adam Read have a different motive behind it? Also, I recently wrote a semiotic analysis of Archer and its promotion of black feminism for a media studies class. If you were interested and had the time, let me know what you think. Thanks Molly PopGirl!

Hey! So sorry it took me so long to reply to this! I’m conflicted about Pam’s weight loss. Clearly, it was due to her cocaine addiction, but I would like to see her return to her original weight come the new season. Hell, even Archer, a rather shallow individual, said he preferred the old Pam. What about you? What do you think? And of course! I’m super interested in reading your analysis!
